The funeral of Frank R. Long, 1150 East Bowman Street, was held at 2 p.m. today in the residence, in charge of Rev. Simon Moore, pastor of the West Union church, Miami road. Burial was in Southlawn cemetery.

Frank R. Long, aged 65, of 450 East Bowman street, died in St. Joseph hospital at 6 p.m. Monday after 18 months' illness. He was born in Union township, this county, Jan. 16, 1872, and lived his entire life on the same farm. He was married in South Bend in 1889 to Nora E. Slough, who survives. Surviving also are a daughter, Mrs. harry W. Kramer, of South Bend, and a brother, Rev. G. J. Long, an evangelist of Sough Ben.d He was 40 years a member of the United Brehtren in Christ church. The body will lie in the residence, where the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. thursday, in charge of Rev. Simon Morre, of the West Union church, Miami Road.
