A very pretty wedding was solumnized at the home of the bride's father, Mr. D.J. Mitchell, 28 Grosvenor street, Toronto, on Tuesday last, when Miss Ariel May Mitchell became the bride of Frederick Nelson Roddy. Rev. Mr. Carrow, Jarvis Street Baptist church, performed the ceremony. The bride entered the room leaning on the arm of ther father and looked very sweet in a gown of white silk, with veil and a wreath of orange blossoms. The bride's bouquet was of white roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Belle Hetherington, of 9 Maple avenue, Brantford, and Miss Minne Ellenor, of Toronto, acted as bridesmaids. The flower girls were two nieces of the bride, Margaret and Ariel Northmore. Mr. Harry Roddy, of Stratford, brother of the groom, was best man. During the sidngin of the register Mr. James T. Whittaker sang "For You Alone." About 40 guests were present, including a number from Brantford, in which city the bride was born, living there until six years ago, when she moved to Toronto. Mrs. J.T. Whittaker, of 3 Darling street, being a sister. After the ceremony the happy couple left on a honeymoon trip through the Thousand Islands, and on their return will reside at their new home on Rushton road, Toronto.
