Mrs. P.J. Lang Dies After Long Illness. Mrs. P.J. Lang, esteemed Laurium resident, died Sunday morning after an illness of five weeks' duration. Mrs. Lang was 45 years old. She was born at the Central mine location and spent her life in the Copper Country. Death occurred at the family home, 433 South Pewabic street.
Surviving are the husband, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Barkell of Cobalt, Ont., and Mrs. Harriet Betzing of Calumet, and two brothers, Richard Nichols of Lake Linden, and Alfred Nichols of Detroit.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon from the Lang home, with services in charge of Rev. Edwyn Evans, pastor of the Calumet Congregational church. Interment will be at Eagle Harbor.
Mrs. Lang was an active member of the Calumet Women's club and the Ladies' Aid society of the Laurium M.E.church. She was also a member of the Lake Linden chapter of the Easter Star.
