Aged Bryanite Dies at Edon, Rites Wednesday.
Miss Susie Schmachtenberger, 86, native and lifelong resident of the Bryan area, died early today in the Strup Rest Home, Edon, where she had been a patient five months. She was born near Bryan on October 22, 1878.
Miss Schmachtenberger was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Luella Bishop, Lansing, Mich. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cretors Funeral Home with Pastor Warren Powell officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Grove Cemetery.
