He is survived by ten children, viz., William of Virginia, Hartley of Merriton, Robert, Hiram and George of St. Thomas, Mrs. D.J.Mitchell and Mrs. J.E.Hetherington of Brantford, Mrs. John Clegg, Paris, and Joseph and Miss Mary at home. The funeral will take place to Greenwood on Wednesday afternoon.
They had 13 children birthdates between 1835 and 1861--two died young in England and the rest settled in Ontario. Ontario children are James W., Hartley, Robert, Hiram, George, Joseph (who settled in St. Thomas and Brantford), Mary (never married), Elizabeth C. (m. John Clegg in Brantford 1861), Margaret G. (m. David Joseph Mitchell in Brantford Sept 1871), and Sarah Jane (m. John Ewart Hetherington, Brantford, Nov 1884). William Rusthon (b. 1835 in Colne or Trawden) married Susanna Barnes in Brantford Oct 1861, had his first child in Brantford 1862, and moved to US About 1863, moving about a lot but centering in Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.
