Tribune, Marshall, Ill., Jan. 4, 1962, Philip Spittler, 85 years old, of Marshall, died at 12:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Union Hospital, Terre Haute. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lenore Dickson of RR 4, Paris; two sons, Dean Spittler of RR 3, and George Spittler of Marshall; a sister, Mrs. Grace Sharp of Martinsville; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Moore Funeral Home where friends may call after 5 o'clock Thursday evening. Services will be at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Moore Chapel, with burial in Marshall Cemetery. The Rev. H.J. Kemp will officiate.
